2.1 Selecting Modem 

To start using Go4Customer Answering Machine 1.1b we’ll have to select the Voice Modem first. The Answering Machine automatically detects the voice modem installed on the computer.The modem can be selected using following ways 

(a) Clicking the Modem Button on top of the Answering Machine window. 

(b) Go to Menu>Options>Modem

2.2 Answering the Calls
2.2.1 Select a File to Play:

Select the file, which you want to play whenever an incoming call is detected. You can do this using two options 

(a) Clicking Record Button on top of the Answering Machine window. 

(b) Go to Menu>File>Record Message>Play Wave File

You can then browse and select the file that you want to play while answering an incoming call.

2.2.2. Playing the Text Message to answer the incoming calls

(a) Clicking Record Button on top of the Answering Machine window.

(b) Go to Menu>File>Record Message>Play Text Message 

Now you’ve the following options for playing the text message recorded by you

Message Properties
Rate: Speed at which you want either of the voices listed speak the message

Volume :It helps you in controlling the volume at which machine speaks the text message

Voice: You can select from Microsoft Mary, Microsoft Sam, and Microsoft Mike.

All messages recorded by you are saved in a database and you’ve the option to Play any of the recorded messages.

2.2.2.1 Recording the new message to answer the incoming calls.

Type the message in the text box, which you want to play whenever an incoming call is detected. Please make sure not to type anything other than (,) ;(.);a-z;A-Z;0-9. 

Go to Menu>File>Record Message>Play Text Message>Record New Message

2.2.3 Go4Customer Answering Machine 1.1b Settings

You can the Answering Machine settings in either of the following ways. 

(a) Clicking Settings Button on top of Answering Machine.

(b) Go to Menu>Options>Settings 

Picture-5 below shows how to change Answering Machine Settings

You can change the following settings 

(a) Number of rings after which the calls should be answered.

(b) Selecting the file, which should be played for answering calls.

(c) Number of seconds for which the caller's message should be recorded. (See Picture 6.1 also)
