Executives on the Move Companies make new hires to drive
business

GN Netcom, Inc., a provider of hands-free communications solutions,
has appointed David Snow as vice president of sales for its Americas
operations. Formerly executive vice president, worldwide sales &
strategic initiatives for PictureTel (now part of Polycom), Snow will be
responsible for channel management, business development, and customer
service. During his six years at PictureTel, Snow had worldwide
responsibility for sales and business development and managed a direct and
channel sales organization with representation in 72 countries. Prior to
PictureTel, he was unit general manager of Strategic Mapping; vice
president, sales and marketing, for Software Quality Automation; and vice
president, business unit general manager for Spectrum Interactive. Snow
graduated from Salem State College with a degree in finance, and received
his MBA from Suffolk University.
Jim Green, former vice president strategic sales for leading
Swedish CRM company Industri-Matematik Abalon AB, has joined Graham
Technology plc and relocated to the communications software firm's
recently refurbished headquarters in Renfrewshire, Scotland, as of director
of international consulting. In the newly created role, Green will be
targeting international business opportunities and strengthening Graham's
strategic growth plan. Green has more than 15 years international sales and
negotiation experience, most recently specializing in the European CRM
software market.
StreamServe, a provider of ebusiness communication software, has
appointed former IBM executive Hal Bennett as president of
StreamServe Americas. Bennett is responsible for directing all U.S.
operations and expanding StreamServe's presence in the Americas enterprise
market. Bennett joins StreamServe most recently from Mirror Image Internet,
where he held the position of vice-president of business development. Prior
to that, Bennett spent 22 years at IBM in various leadership roles,
culminating with his last position as IBM's director of global alliances.
Technology solutions provider ePartners Inc. has named Duane
Connor as regional vice president of sales for the company's Midwest
region. Connor will be responsible for sales and service to ePartners'
Midwest customers. Connor recently served as vice president of sales and
marketing at NextCorp, a Microsoft Business Solutions consulting and
application outsourcing firm. Prior to that he was director of sales and
marketing for Biznetsolutions, an eCommerce firm.
William (Bill) Pieper has joined customer-interaction-management
solutions provider TeleSpectrum as executive vice president of sales.
Pieper is charged with formulating new strategies for the company's efforts
to dominate its target markets. Prior to joining TeleSpectrum, Pieper was
senior vice president of sales and general manager of InteliData
Technologies' Card Solutions business. Previously, Pieper was senior vice
president of sales for First Data Solutions, an online information
management solutions firm. Before that, he held senior sales and marketing
positions at SITEL Corporation, and was senior vice president of sales and
marketing for APAC Customer Services.
Model N, which provides application software for contract lifecycle
management, has appointed Jamie Schein as vice president and chief
marketing officer. Schein leads all corporate- and product-marketing
initiatives. Schein's more than 15 years experience include his previous
position as vice president of product marketing and management and vice
president of software alliances for Vantive. Schein also served in various
marketing roles at Silicon Graphics. She holds an MBA from the Stanford
University Graduate School of Business and a BA from Harvard University.
Rick Bierwagen has joined ICP, Inc. as vice president,
software product development. ICP, which provides information technology
products and enterprise services, hired Bierwagen to focus its software
development on products that meet current business needs. Prior to ICP,
Bierwagen held senior executive positions at Ariba and SupplierMarket.com.
He has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Montana State
University and an MBA from Vanderbilt University.
Lost-and-found service provider StuffBak has appointed Dan Craig
as director of marketing and operations and Karen Edwards as vice
president of sales. Craig oversees product development, manufacturing,
distribution, and marketing. Prior to joining StaffBak, Craig held positions
in product management, marketing, and business development for Excite@Home,
MatchLogic, and Wroldprints.com. Edwards is responsible for building
relationships with and revenues from OEM, direct, and indirect sales
channels. Edwards has held senior sales and marketing positions for
SupplyPro, Epigraphx, Octel Communications, and NBI Inc.
