Arbitrel Joins Sales Logix Partner Program
Looking to shift away from enterprise and more on mid-market

Interact Commerce Corp., maker of CRM offering SalesLogix, said that Arbitrel Inc. has joined the SalesLogix Technology Partner Program.

Through this partnership, both SalesLogix and the SalesLogix Business Partner channel will offer Arbitrel's flagship eCampaign product and the product's advanced marketing and front-end, lead qualification module to SalesLogix's more than 4,000 customers and new prospects.

Arbitrel, a privately held company backed by Softbank, currently uses both direct and indirect channels to sell products with nearly 70 percent of sales going through direct channels. The partnership agreement with SalesLogix is expected to help the company shift that to more of an even spilt, Arbitrel executives say.

In addition, Arbitrel, which has about 120 enterprise clients including Prudential, Samsung, Motorola, and Document Sciences, will use the partnership with SalesLogix to shift its focus away from the enterprise to more mid-market clients.

Arbitrel officials said that by teaming with SalesLogix small to mid-market companies would now have the same marketing features of large corporations.

"Mid-market companies will be able to proactively communicate with end-customers, cost effectively qualify leads, and understand customer interests in real-time," said Steve Lee, Arbitrel president and chief executive.

Arbitrel's eCampaign is an eCRM communication package that offers tools to create, personalize, send, track, and target marketing campaigns. The product also includes tracking and reporting capabilities for marketing and sales to rapidly re-segment target audiences, prospects, subscribers, and customers, based on interest levels. Using eCampaign allows users to track responses down to who opened the email, how long it was open and which links were clicked. The software automatically maintains a comprehensive record of customer interactions with emails sent through the program.
